1. About us and these terms

This website, compare-japaneseknotweed-removal.co.uk ("the Site"), is operated by The Lead Advisory Company Limited, trading as "Compare Knotweed Removal" ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England & Wales under company number 05374791, VAT number 857848462, registered office [REPLACE - registered office address].

By accessing or using the Site you accept these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.

2. Our service

Compare Knotweed Removal is a free comparison and introduction service. We connect homeowners, buyers, landlords and developers with independent, PCA-accredited Japanese knotweed removal specialists.

We do not survey, treat or remove Japanese knotweed ourselves. The survey, any quotation, the price you pay, the treatment and any guarantee are provided by, and are the sole responsibility of, the independent specialist you are introduced to. Any contract for a survey or treatment is formed directly between you and that specialist — we are not a party to it.

Our service is free for you to use. We may receive a commission from a specialist if you proceed with them; this never changes the price you are quoted.

3. Submitting an enquiry

When you complete our quote form, verify your number or use our chat, you ask us to pass your details to one or more PCA-accredited specialists so they can contact you about your enquiry. You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to provide it. Please see our Privacy Policy for how we handle your personal data.

4. Specialist accreditation

We take reasonable steps to introduce you only to specialists who hold recognised accreditation (such as PCA membership) at the time of introduction. However, we do not employ, control or supervise these specialists, and we do not warrant or guarantee their work, availability, pricing or conduct. You are responsible for satisfying yourself that a specialist is suitable before engaging them.

5. Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You must not misuse the Site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, submit false or spam enquiries, or use it in any way that could damage or impair it. Content on the Site is provided for general information about Japanese knotweed and is not legal, surveying or professional advice.

6. Our liability

The Site and our introduction service are provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties and are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Site, from any introduction, or from any survey, treatment, advice, report or guarantee provided by a specialist. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos and design — is owned by or licensed to The Lead Advisory Company Limited and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce it without our permission.
